Traditional half-firm sliceable cheese from Galicia with EU-wide Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)

Hand made and industrially produced from cow milk of Rubia-Gallega, Frisona and Pardo Alpina cows

Literally translated, the cheese name means little breast, due to the pear-shape of the cheese loaf

Light yellow, elastic interior with yellow natural rind

Fat content: 25 % fat, dry weight

Taste: mild, fresh, light

Ripening time: 23 months
